Ibmec/RJ hosts the 3rd Conference on Information Technology and Quantitative Management

The governor of Rio de Janeiro, Luiz Fernando Pezão (pictured above), attended the opening of the 3rd Conference on Information Technology and Quantitative Management (ITQM 2015), held on July 20th -23rd, at the Ibmec/RJ cam- pus downtown. The event is part of a series of conferences organized by the International Academy of Information Technology and Quantitative Management (IAITQM). Also present at the ceremony, João Arinos dos Santos, president of Ibmec Group and ITQM 2015’s president of honor; Yong Shi, President of the International Information Technology and Quantitative Management Academy; Paulo Augusto Vivacqua, president of the National Academy of Engineering; Gustavo Tutuca, State Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Innovation; Sergio Boanada, vice president of SINDITEC and representative of FIRJAN; Luiz Autran Gomes, president of the International Information Technology and Quantitative Management Academy; and Raul Colcher, vice president of ASSESPRO and coor- dinator of the program ITQM. ITQM 2015 is an international event, attended by over 200 researchers from differ- ent countries, predominantly China and Brazil. It is a global forum for the exchange of cutting-edge research results and case studies on information technology and quantitative management techniques. Topics such as Big Data & Data Science, Internet of Things, Decision Making in Changeable Spaces and Models of Retail Consumer Behaviors were some of the key issues debated during ITQM 2015.
