Paving the way for industrial growth in Itatiaia

On August 21st, ECONOMIA RIO magazine reported on-site at the inauguration of the Industrial Avenue Alda Bernardes de Faria e Silva, which will connect the Dutra Highway to the industrial center of Itatiaia, home to multinational companies Michelin, Hyundai, P&G and as of 2016, Jaguar Land Rover. The construction work for the new avenue was carried out with private investments undertaken by the company Patria Investimentos, one of Brazil’s leading investment management and corporate advisory firms. During the ceremony, Helmut Fladt, Real Estate Senior Vice President at Pátria Investimentos, announced investments of R$ 300 million in the development of a multimodal Logistics Complex in a 640,000 square meter area in Itatiaia. The state-of-the-art facility will suit 1,200 containers and will feature an exclusive 1.5 km railway spur connecting the region to the ports in Rio de Janeiro and Sepetiba.
