In late December a delegation from the Paris Municipal Government visited Rio de Janeiro with the goal of developing a partnership related to public spaces and the historical center of the city. The mission included representatives from Paris City Hall’s Department of International Relations, as well as specialists in urban planning from Paris’s Urbanism Agency.
In addition to meetings with the Rio World Heritage Institute (IRPH) and the state’s departments of urbanism and conservation, the group also took guided tours of Campo de Santana and the city’s port district.
